OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: Plurk (ricinbeens), AIM (ricinbeens) or email (iamthejunipertree at gmail) are all fine.
•THREAD-JACKING: THREADJACKS WELCOME.
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE: This is the one time I'm going to say GO FOR IT. Fourth-walling a-okay, canon puncture a-okay. The only thing I'd ask to avoid is no revealing future events.
•BACKTAGGING: I am not great at backtagging, but I'm willing to try!
•AVOIDED TOPICS: I prefer to exercise caution when it comes to arson/fire damage, either to people or things. I'm also pretty squicked by eye stuff. Otherwise, no problems.
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Omar is of average height and build, with very dark skin. His most notable physical characteristic is the scar across his face, which extends from the center of his forehead, down over his nose, to his right cheek near his mouth (a good picture is here). He currently has a shaved head (although if anyone's around to help him with his hair, he likes to wear cornrows) and varies between being clean-shaven and wearing a closely-trimmed beard. His style is basically pure street: baggy, dark clothes, hoodies, etc. He often wears a bulletproof vest and a long trenchcoat over his clothes. He has pierced ears and frequently wears jewelry. He probably smells like Newport cigarettes and condemned houses. He has a somewhat husky voice, although not very deep.
•DEMEANOR: Omar is generally a cheerful fellow. He's mostly on the quiet side, because he prefers to stay in the shadows and watch people until he's ready to spring his plans into action. But when he does talk, he's friendly and usually pretty witty/sassy. He shows no fear, ever, and will treat most situations with either humor or anger.
•ABILITIES: Nothing supernatural. However, he has insanely high thresholds for both pain and fear.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Several old scars, most notably the one on his face, and most recently a gunshot wound through the shoulder that appears to have been stitched up by an amateur (i.e., himself).
•CABIN INFORMATION: Omar basically lives in a condemned apartment. The door is plain wood, painted white but worn by age and hard use. The interior is made up of two sparsely-furnished rooms, a bedroom and kitchen. It sucks and he's basically never there.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: His boyfriend's death, I guess. There's not a lot that fazes him. He's more bothered by actions than words.
